A new teaser video has been released for the Honda Hawk 11

THE second Honda Hawk 11 teaser video reveals a number of new details about the bike and gives us a better look at the aesthetics.

Perhaps the most notable detail is that the Hawk 11 will use the same steel cradle frame design as the Africa Twin, from which the 1084cc twin-cylinder engine is also drawn. This means the Hawk 11 will be the fourth of Honda’s bikes to use the engine that debuted in the Africa Twin, after the CMX1100 Rebel and NT1100 also used the same engine.

With the engine of the Hawk 11 confirmed, we can expect 101 horsepower from the new neo cafe racer, as well as 104 Nm of torque. Additionally, if the parallels with the Africa Twin are followed further than engine and chassis design, it can be assumed that power will be sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox, with the possibility of a DCT option.

There’s also a limited view of the front suspension, which appears to show inverted forks no different than those seen on the NT1100.

Aesthetically speaking, the bike seems to take the “modern classic” approach you might expect. From the rocket cowl front fascia design to the retro circular mirrors and headlights, the Hawk 11 is sure to be a bike that points to the past with its visuals.

This second teaser also announces that the motorcycle will be unveiled to the public at the Osaka Motorcycle Show on March 19, 2022. So, in 10 days, we will have the full portrait of the Honda Hawk 11.
