Woman on motorbike sent to hospital after collision with pickup truck driver
A woman is hospitalized and the province’s Independent Investigations Office opened an investigation following a collision near a police radar on Highway 1 in West Vancouver on Sunday.

The woman on the motorcycle was seriously injured in the accident and was rushed to hospital.
The IOI will review the case to determine if “police actions or inactions may have played a role in the incident.” If they believe that a crime may have been committed, they can forward a request to the Crown to prosecute the charges.
The West Vancouver Police Department has resumed the crash investigation itself, but as the IOI has asserted jurisdiction over the incident, no further details of the collision will be released, according to WVPD.
