Honda registered the design of the CRF 190L Adventure motorcycle in India. This motorcycle is currently sold in the Chinese market under the name Honda Sundiro.

The design patent does not necessarily mean that the company will definitely launch the motorcycle in the Indian market.

However, Honda filed the patent to protect its future plans in case the bike makes its way to the Indian market. As of now, Honda 2Wheelers India has no plans to launch the CRF 190L in the market anytime soon.

At the heart of the bike is a 184cc engine which is designed to deliver 15.5hp of peak power and 15.7Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. A version of this engine is also found on the Honda Hornet 2.0 and CB200X, these motorcycles are currently available for sale in India.

The CRF 190L weighs only around 145 kg, making it a fairly light motorcycle for off-road use. With 240mm of ground clearance, the baby CRF promises to tackle off-road trails with dominance. It has a seat height of 830mm, which is even higher than the Hero XPulse 200. A long-travel suspension setup and a combination of 19- to 17-inch wire wheels shod with dual-purpose wheels make add to its adventure credentials. tires.

In India, it rivals the hugely popular Hero XPulse 200 which was launched a few years ago. For Indian customers, Hero introduced the CB200X last year which is built on the Hornet 2.0 platform.
