– Honda Dio available in seven colors
– Sold in a Standard variant and a Deluxe variant
The Honda Dio is essentially the Activa 6G mechanically but graces sportier attire. While it offers the reliability and refinement of the latter, it targets riders who want a more aggressive and youthful scooter. Taking this into account, Honda offers the Dio in no less than seven color options, split into two variants – Standard and Deluxe.
The Deluxe variant can be offered in one of four available color options including Metallic Red, Metallic Grey, Metallic Yellow and Metallic Blue. As for the standard trim, it comes in three paint schemes: metallic grey, red and orange. With the exception of the Metallic Gray version, which is common to both variants, all the other colors are two-tone. What aesthetically differentiates the Standard and Deluxe variants is the presence of golden alloy rims in the latter and different decals.
In terms of features, what sets them apart is an LCD instrument cluster in the Deluxe version which is not available in the Standard model. The list of common features includes an LED headlight, LED taillight, engine start/stop switch, side stand engine cut-off switch and a front pocket. The Honda Dio is powered by a 109.51cc fan-cooled engine mated to a CVT transmission system. It develops 7.65 hp of power and 9 Nm of maximum torque.
