Although Honda has a wide range of motorcycles in India, its portfolio is still lacking in many models. The Honda CB150R, which has just received many upgrades, is one of those popular motorcycles sold internationally.
The 2021 CB150R Streetfire sport LED lights up all around. Its handlebars have been slightly tapered to improve rider comfort. The LCD instrument console has also received a complete overhaul. It receives a gear position indicator, speedometer, odometer, tachometer and fuel level bar.
The motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled 149cc single cylinder engine with 16.3 hp and 13.7 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
In addition, the fuel tank and the shrouds have been redesigned and it has a capacity of 12 liters. The Honda CB150R Streetfire Special Edition also receives a belly guard.
One of the most significant updates to the 2021 model comes in the form of the Showa USD 37mm fork. The rear unit is the same pro-link mono-shock. Its braking equipment is quite sober and includes a front and rear disc.
As part of the special edition, the bike receives three colors: Furry Matte Red, Raptor Matte Black and Armored Matte Gray. In contrast, the standard version is only available in two colors: Stinger Red Black and Macho Black.
In Indonesia, the base model Honda CB150R Streetfire 2021 sells for IDR 2.97.00,000 (around Rs 1.51 lakh), while the special edition costs IDR 3.07,00,000 (around Rs 1.56 lakh) of Rs). Honda India expressed no desire to bring the motorcycle to India but the brand is working on an ADV 200cc for the country.
